Grammy-award-winning artist, John Legend, is set to release a new song this Friday, Feb. 15, based off of a passage from the book of Matthew.

The Scripture Legend was referencing is Matthew 22:37-40, which reads:
“‘Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’”
The singer added: “My preacher told me that our neighbor wasn’t just the person that lives next door to you but other people whom you might not even know.”
Two days later, Legend shared another video to his Instagram feed, using the same caption, “#CantJustPreach.” The video features a soundbite from his new song.
