When it comes to healing, the position of God is very clear- He is the healer and He wants all sick people healed at all times. It doesn’t matter how prolonged someone’s sickness might be, that doesn’t mean He has stopped healing or leave the sickness to the victim so as to humble him or her. Far from it!
So as to make it clear in the heart of men, God introduced Himself to the Israelite as ”Jehovah Rap-ha which means Healer”. Last time I checked my Bible ( which is today), He still bear that name. To make it more profound, Jesus healed every sick that came across Him while on earth. A proof that healing is God’s will. The only time Jesus couldn’t healed was where people don’t believe in Him. Mark 6:5-6
I consider faith as a weapon of healing. But if we apply natural faith instead of supernatural faith ( God kind of faith) we may not get the desired results. God-kind of faith is without fear, anxiety and doubt, a steadfast faith that keep believing until the healing is received despite the feeling of symptoms or the report of medical practitioners.
If you are a believer you already have God-kind of faith at salvation. Faith is one of the gifts you received from God when you born again but you must tap into it and demonstrate it. Enduring faith in God cannot fail. If someone hasn’t received healing that doesn’t mean God is not willing to heal but for that person to check his or her faith.
Let me also say this, even when you go to hospital for any treatment you still have to put the faith of your healing on God and there is nothing wrong in seeking medical solution for your treatment. Bible says whatever we eat, drink and do, we must do it to the Lord. 1 Cor 10:31
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. James 5:14
I pray for anyone sick now to receive their healing in Jesus name. Amen.
